The compact and ergonomic Planmeca Emerald S intraoral scanner offers a particularly smooth and comfortable scanning experience for you and your patients. The scanner captures digital impressions efficiently, allowing a capable user to capture a full arch in well under a minute. Completed scans are stored in the Planmeca Romexis software and immediately available for further use.

The scanner can either be connected to a laptop or a Planmeca dental unit. The integration with a dental unit allows you to operate the scanner from the foot control, leaving your hands free for scanning and patient treatment.

Lifetime user license

Planmeca Emerald S has a lifetime user license ensuring you can fully concentrate on scanning without having to worry about any hidden annual or monthly subscription fees. The scanner is easy to upgrade with software updates that regularly introduce new features and further enhance the usability and performance of the scanner.

Easy imports and exports

Built on an open platform, Planmeca Emerald S allows you to connect the data to your chairside equipment or swiftly share the intraoral scans with others – entirely without click fees. The scanner supports imports and exports in open STL and PLY file formats, facilitating easy collaboration with dental laboratories and other partners.

With Romexis® Cloud, you can easily send your intraoral scans or other types of image data to dental laboratories, which they can receive and view through our secure Romexis® LabApp application.

• Upon placing your order, one of our sales team will contact you to ensure you have the correct Laptop / PC specification. Important – product cannot be returned.
• Once you have received your scanner, call the Planmeca team (details included) to arrange your free remote installation and training.
• Register the product to increase warranty from 12 months to 24 months.
• Bespoke support package for BDSI customers, included in purchase price.
  You are entitled to, over a 12 month period from date of install:
  o             6 x video call
  o             1 site call out (FOC) with 4 hours on site (FOC)
  o             Loan fee waived (if the product needs to be sent away for repair, we will provide you with a loan if we have one available)
  o             Discounted call out with reduced labour fee if further site visits are requested.
  o             Remote support at reduced cost over Planmeca standard charges.
  o             Discount on replacement parts (Parts include replacement tips, covers, cables etc.)
